We are pleased to say that Quasar AOR, will remain committed to playing the best in Album music from the last 5 decades as we have been doing since 2007, but now with added content for those living in, or with an interest in that great city of Paphos in Cyprus. Paphos Carnival
Carnival time is a fantastic fun-filled series of events filled with lots of traditional and modern activities. There is plenty of fun to be had with dancing, music and not forgetting great food and drinks.
The Carnival will be held between Thursday 19th February to Sat 28th February and preceded with a number of unique events based on local myths and traditions.
The first week of is called the Meat Week (Kreatini) as it is the last week for eating meat before Easter. The second week is known as the cheese week (Tyrini) when cheese and other dairy products are eaten.
Carnival festivities begin on the Thursday 19th February..
